Pilates Weekends and Holidays
Over the years we have visited beautiful venues abroad in places such as Normandy, Trentino, Andalucia, and Crete, plus some gorgeous areas in England, including Springhead in Dorset and Croydon Hall in Somerset. These holidays restored us to good health and helped to deepen our understanding of Pilates.

Wellness Sundays - a day of restoration
Join us for a day of indepth Pilates, relaxing massage and delicious, nutritious food at our retreat venue near Epping Forest. Chris teaches two Pilates sessions - one in the morning, the other later in the afternoon. There is a long break in between for you to enjoy a treatment with our recommended therapist, Chinese doctor Simon James, plus lunch and relaxation time.

A healthy, vegetarian-friendly lunch is cooked by Louise Beegan. She also provides delicious cakes, teas and coffees throughout the day.

Here are our dates for this year. There are six spots available for each day.

20 June Summer Solstice Intermediate group
11 July Introductory Day Levels 1 & 2*
8 August High Summer Intermediate group
26 September Indian Summer Intermediate group
31 October Hallowe'en Advanced group
(strong level 3, 4 & 5)
21 November Advent Intermediate group
*May be held at a different venue (and there may be more spaces)

The total cost of the day is £110. You can view the day's schedule here.

For more on our therapist, Simon James - a highly trained Chinese doctor - see full details.

The Pilates Marathon
A few years ago we held a Pilates Marathon to raise money for charity. We did a full demonstration of Joseph H Pilates’ original matwork sequence, 35 tough exercises. Held at Esporta Riverside Club, Dukes Meadow, Chiswick, in May 2003, the marathon raised a staggering £6,000 for:
* The Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital
* The Blue Cross & The Brooke Hospital for working animals
* St Martin in the Fields appeal for the Homeless.
